Senior Portraits : Melanie
/This year, I have the privilege of taking my youngest daughter's (Melanie) Senior Photos. When Cara and I talked about it with her, she decided that we should do them in Austin. So we packed the car and sped on to the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
Upon asking on Facebook what places would be good for graffiti, the consensus seemed to be Graffiti Wall at Castle Hill. So Friday evening, that was our first stop.
Later we drove downtown to see the Capitol Building. Surprisingly, there was limited traffic so we decided to grab a few shots in the vicinity.
Saturday, I wanted to get a less urban setting so we ventured toward San Marcos. Of course, before anything else we had to hit the outlet mall and grab lunch. My oldest daughter, Holly recommended that we visit Jacob's Well near Wimberley. So next stop- Jacob's Well. But first, being the adventurer that I am, I took a few back roads to see what was there. And it really paid off.
I'm really pleased with the way the shots turned out. More importantly, Mel is pleased! I can't wait to go back to Central Texas- there is still so much more there to shoot.
